There were just four rounds played in Regular Season of BSN and we can clearly see which teams will fight for top positions and which will try to avoid bottom places. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.
The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Cangrejeros as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Cangrejeros defeated their close opponent Mets in Santurce 102-90. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Santurce had a 32-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Angel Matias (194-1992, college: Georgia South) who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 9 rebounds. American center Thomas Robinson (203-1991, college: Kansas) contributed with 16 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. American guard Bryce Cotton (182-1992, college: Providence, agency: Pensack Sports) replied with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for Guaynabo. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Guaynabo at the other side dropped to the third place with two games lost. They share the position with Arecibo and Carolina. Guaynabo will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest in order to get back on the winning path. Santurce will try to continue on its current victory against fifth ranked Ponce in Juana Diaz.
